Amy Black is a piano teacher in the Bellingham/Ferndale, Wa area. After teaching overseas in Okinawa, Japan, for 12 years, she and her husband returned to the states to be closer to family.
Amy received her BA from Whitworth University in Music Education with an emphasis in choral music. Also, she received her endorsement in Piano Pedagogy.
Amy is co-founder and Executive Director of the Bellingham Music Enrichment Project, a 501c3 arts organization she and her husband started to provide musical opportunities for all ages with the Whatcom Youth Choirs and the Bellingham Community Chorus. She is also serving as one of the choir directors and accompanist for the youth choirs.
She is a member of MTNA, WSMTA, and BMTA. All professional music organizations which promote music education.
